Today, it's not hard to see that many of us fight about our differences. And many of us, if not all of us, in some way or another, are fighting for individualism. All through history, we have been fighting about our differences and the perceptive "truth".
The truth has always been right in front of us, but it is the difference of details we focus on more than the similarities of function. There are many variations of things that serve the same function, and we all have personal preferences of style. But that doesn't mean that function is different, it's just the closemindedness towards difference that divide us.
Too many of us are set in our ways. It's necessary to have faith in yourself, but understanding only comes from openminded thinking. How would you expect to learn about something new or different if you already have a preformed opinion? There are always two sides to the story, and meeting difference with resistance means you have only heard one side.
Now, as I mentioned, the truth has always been right in front of us, and I mean Nature. We have learned that chemistry is a part of nature and chemistry is all about molecular bonds. What is it about molecules that allow them to bond? Sure, there are details expressed with the periodic table but in simple functional terms, molecules equally sacrifice a piece of themselves to create that bond.
Through physics, we study causation (cause and effect). If you observe anything that comes in contact with another thing, the point of contact is an equal surface area between both objects. This does not only apply to physical materials, as all things are some sort of vibration, and vibrations are a fluctuation of opposites. Even if an object is not living, the colors of it are different vibrations of light.
